Starting your Fitness Journey

Earlier this year we created a series of videos to help those just in the beginning of their fitness journey but it doesn't really matter where you are along in the journey, we're sure you will enjoy this series!

If someone doesn't adopt the fitness lifestyle it doesn't really matter what equipment they buy as it will eventually collect dust so we created this series in hopes that it would help others change the way they think when it comes to fitness.

Fitness is an Investment so one way to think of it is to Invest in your Fitness. What does your health cost? Check out Fitness Depot Houston's owner, Lee McLaren as he kicks off the series.

Another aspect of Fitness is health and nutrition. Eating is extremely important as what you put in your body will determine what energy you push out. Luckily we have personal trainer, Scotty Lindsey with his tips for eating.

If you have enough time to watch an entire season of a tv show in one sitting then you have enough time to better yourself! Personal trainer shares her story and also some advice as well. It's really all about bettering yourself. You have to make that decision to be better to began your transformation.

Maybe the best thing can do is to connect with a personal trainer but how do you know which trainer to choose or who to go with? A big thanks to persoanl trainer for walking through his process for choosing a personal trainer. If you don't find someone who works best with what you need, then it's only a matter of time before you choose not to show up and possibly quit your fitness journey.

Fitness doesn't have to be expensive and it doesn't have to be complicated. Aja Barto shares some advice; Start Somewhere! No matter what you do, just be sure to do something!

If your a fan of American Ninja Warrior you might be familiar with Tré Dortch! Too often, flexibility and recovery are overlooked when thinking about fitness as Tré explains. If you take care of your body it will take care of you so be sure to stretch and even try our foam rollers while you're at it.

Finally we have our good friend, Chris from Mean Green Training and the Beast Mode games to share what he would tell anyone just preparing for the Beast Mode Games. The Beast Mode Games is a semiannual event open to anyone who would like a challenge but not on the level of some of the more intense competitions like the CrossFit open or a Power Lifting event.

We also show many of our friends in this last video and we hope you enjoyed this series. Let us know what future series you would like see from us.
